SHERLOCK HOMLESWe are proud that in association with the famous Sherlock Holmes Society of London and the Old Court Radio Theatre Company we have entered a project to record the entire series of Sir Authur Conan Doyles stories of the great detective. In all Sir Authur wrote over seventy stories, and the aim is to bring to the series, not just the most popular adventures but those that are less well known. Each is designed for a thirty minute format. For details of this offer - just press the logo of the great detective alongside.

THE VANITY PROJECT
OK this is a pure ego tripping section, But below are links to four comedy dramas writen by my good self. I personally think they are works of pure genious, but that's just my personal view. The truth is that I bashed these out when we were a bit desperate for material. But thanks to my very good friends from the ESSEX AUDIO THEATRE, who not only suffered the ravings of this author but made my somewhat iliterate scripts live. You can check them out by clicking over the logo to link to the MEVIO hosted file. I just hope you enjoy them.

Alongside. The rather busy scene in our studio during the recording of one of our drama productions. Whilst belowt, the cast of one of our productions out on location. All are members of the ESSEX AUDIO THEATRE. Over the years since our inception this group of talented actors have provided most of our material. Their collective talent is such that apart from their acting skills, we can also call on them to act as producers and cast directors. And as if that wasn't enough, this band of Ham Dram folk based in North Essex around Braintree and Dunmow even number four drama authors. It's true to say that without their hard work and theatrial skills we could not continue without them.

ON LOCATION !
Every so often, some director comes up with the great idea of taking the crew out on location. All very well but consider the story behind this photo. Deep in the heart of an Essex woods we wanted to record a sort of modern take on the Robin Hood story. Fine so far, but the recording engineer almost went into re-hab after fighting with Hoo-Ray Henrys letting off with their shot guns in the next field, a combine harvester in the other field, plus the low flying air liners. Oh and the local farmhands with a chain saw, plus the local police testing out their sirens to say nothing of a visit from an Ice Cream van playing greensleaves on its p.a. Oh yes and shorty after this shot was taken - the sky's opened up and down came the rain. Yes we love going on location. |
